Then either activate the eyeball by pressing the or key to view the soup in close up. Then, move Misfortune a bit to the right (in front of the soup on the stove, until the eyeball over the pot of soup appears). You may need to move Misfortune a bit to the left to see the "eyeball" over the rabbits. I strongly suggest that you spread some sparkle in the refrigerator using either the keyboard, key on your keyboard, or by pressing the or key when the eyeball icon is visible over the dead rabbits and the rainbow sparkles are visible and the "sparkle" sound is being played. Open the refrigerator and see the dead rabbits. Voice will talk about cigarette smoke again. You'll start that segment of the game over again as if you didn't ever visit any of the kitchen locations. This should take you to the far left side of the kitchen game scene. When the game's menu comes up, please select the "Continue" menu pick. (3) Then start up the Steam Client software and play the Little Misfortune game again. But if you have already rebooted your computer since you downloaded and installed the Little Misfortune game, there isn't any need to do so again. This is a quick and easy thing to do and if you haven't yet rebooted your computer since you downloaded the Little Misfortune game often will clear up issues that crop up without the issue recurring. (2) Then exit from the Steam client software, and then reboot your computer. If you haven't done that, please do so now. (1) I'm assuming that you have somehow force closed the game since you originally posted to these forums. You also said that you're using both the keyboard and mouse as your input device in the "Options" of the game.
You said that the game became unresponsive for you while you were viewing the dead animal soup. If that's the case, feel free to skip that step, and move on to the next.
You also didn't say what troubleshooting you attempted to do if any, so I'll give you all the tips I can think of. You also didn't give any information about your computer specs or even what platform you're playing the game on (Windows, Mac or Linux.) No one else has reported this issue previously, and I, so far, have not been able to replicate it. I've combined and cross-referred your three posts here. I'm sorry that you got stuck in your gameplay of the Little Misfortune game.
The story seems to be a little forceful on presenting certain social views but that is not a problem as long as it is fun and beautiful like Fran Bow.
